Call Me The Panfish Whisperer

Quick session today on the river.  The weather had changed, the water was still low and clear, and it seemed like only the dinks were biting.  Yesterday the river was on fire and the Bee was the cat's pajamas.  I fished the Bee, a chartreuse Persuader and an olive/black Road Kill today.  No smallies came to hand today.  Only panfish.  Hence my new name.  Fished for an hour and a half and brought 21 long ears and 1 warmouth to hand.  Rain is coming tomorrow and you can tell from the reactions of the fish, the wind and the clouds moving in.  Maybe next week guys.  I need some more top water action before it closes for the season.  I love that soft sound made by a panfish as it slurps your fly from the top.  I need some more top water action!!
