Quick Outing on the Shenandoah River

I surprised Melissa while we were at the cabin and invited a dear friend over who lives in the area over for the night.  She brought along her 6 year old grandson who Nathaniel had someone to play with.  Well what was I to do?  I know....go fishing.  I only had 45 minutes on the river but I tried to make the most of it.  I continued with the C.G.R. 6wt while chucking a Luscious Lemon in size 8.  In 45 minutes I landed a smallie and 7 long ears.  Not bad.  At least I got out for another night!
